Agreement
These draft terms govern use of 188 IPTV Player, provided by 188 Software Limited. They are prepared for pre-launch review and are not final legal advice. Jurisdiction, store-specific terms, and the final commercial model must be confirmed before publication. Questions can be sent to hello@188software.com.
Media player only
188 IPTV Player is a media player. It does not provide, sell, host, or distribute television channels, playlists, subscriptions, or other media content.
You must obtain your media and provider access independently from lawful sources. 188 Software Limited is not affiliated with, responsible for, or able to control third-party providers that you choose to add.
Authorised use
- Use the app only with media and services you own or are legally authorised to access.
- Follow your provider’s terms and all applicable copyright, licensing, privacy, and local laws.
- Do not use the app to bypass access controls, digital rights management, or other technical protections.
- Do not share account or provider credentials with unauthorised people.
Third-party services
Playback, catalogue availability, guide data, catch-up, and connection quality depend on your network, device, and third-party provider. 188 Software Limited does not guarantee that a particular provider, playlist, stream, or format will remain available or compatible.
Accounts and security
If optional accounts are enabled, you are responsible for accurate registration details, protecting your sign-in credentials, and notifying 188 Software Limited of suspected unauthorised access. Provider credentials remain separate from optional 188 account information in the inspected app design.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, distribute malware, infringe intellectual-property rights, or use the app in a way that harms others or violates law.
Availability and changes
Features may change as the app develops. Some features depend on the operating system, device capability, provider data, network conditions, or store approval. Store availability will be confirmed separately for each platform.
Final legal review required
Before launch, these terms must be reviewed for the developer’s country, launch regions, subscription or purchase model, warranty limitations, liability limits, dispute process, consumer-law obligations, and Apple or Google requirements.
